# Adding Assistant Usage

Adding Assistant usage is available only on the **`Pro`** plan.

## How to Purchase More

* Go to the **`Plan`** page of the workspace, open the **`Assistant`** tab, and click **`Add usage`** to go to the usage addition screen.
* In the **`Select usage`** step, select the usage you want to add and proceed to the **`Payment`** step.
* The higher the quality you generate at, the more usage is consumed per generation, so the actual number of generations available may vary depending on the quality you select.
* Added usage is charged at a set rate based on the quantity purchased, and the exact amount can be checked on the usage selection screen.
* Click **`Pay`** and the usage is applied as soon as the payment is made.

## Restrictions on the Free Plan

* Purchasing additional Assistant usage is not supported on the **`Free`** plan.
* The **`Add usage`** button is shown, but clicking it displays a notice that the feature is restricted.
* If you need to add usage, upgrade to the Pro plan on [Change Plan](/docs/guide/en/subscription/plan.md).

## Periodic Reset

* Additionally purchased Assistant usage **expires and does not carry over** on each recurring billing date.
* Expiry occurs on the monthly recurring billing date, and usage is reset on the same cycle regardless of when it was purchased.
