# Member Management

Workspace members other than guests can view members.\
Workspace **`Owner`** and **`Admin`** can invite workspace members or manage their permissions.

## Inviting Members

* **`Owner`** and **`Admin`** can invite workspace members.
* When you invite someone, an invitation email with a sign-up link is sent, and the sign-up link expires after 7 days.
  * If the person is already a Creco member, no invitation email is sent, and they are invited immediately.
  * If the sign-up link has expired, you can re-invite them using the **`Resend`** feature if needed.

## Changing Permissions

* **`Owner`** and **`Admin`** can change workspace member permissions.
* **`Owner`** can transfer the **`Owner`** permission to another member.
  * The previous owner is changed to admin.
* **`Admin`** cannot change another member to **`Owner`**.
* You can also change the permission of a member who is still being invited.

## Removing Permissions

* **`Owner`** and **`Admin`** can remove workspace member permissions.
* Users can also remove their own permission.
  * However, this is only possible for **`Owner`** after transferring the **`Owner`** permission to another member.
